Adopted.com is proud to offer a country-wide Adoption Reunion Registry for Australia where you
can meet by mutual consent whether you've accessed your adoption records or not. From Perth
to Brisbane and everywhere in between, if both parties want to meet then you can find each
other on Adopted.com!
In Victoria, adult adoptees (18 and over) are able to obtain access to identifying information
including their original birth certificate, court and agency records. Those wishing to obtain access
to information must also participate in a mandatory interview, which can take place in person or
over the phone in the case that the adoptee lives overseas. As of July 1, 2013, birth parents are
also able to obtain identifying information regarding the adopted child.

246. Venerino : Hello,
My name is Venerino Fallara I am 50 and Italian Australian.
This is a hard one because I don’t know if I am searching for someone real or not since the mother has never told me and disappeared, I don’t know if they were adopted out or not. But I believe that I need to look because of rumors and circumstances surrounding this. When I was 19-20 I met a woman and we knew each other through friends but only spent a couple of weeks together back then we just met up at a hangout place we all went to every weekend and the truth is can’t remember her name but she lived in the hill in Perth and her name started with an A. She has dark hair and dark skin but she wasn’t Italian like me.
She knew my home number and called me a few times but suddenly disappeared, she never came to the spot our groups hangout and when I asked her friends about her they told me she was sick. After a few months I asked again and they said she had left for the eastern states, I think they said Melbourne due to family reasons.
She never made contact with me again and I moved on and had my own family.
I have always felt uneasy about this and something does not add up and now I have heard a rumour that I could have a son.
Her family and her lived in Perth and the birth could be here but from what her friends said about her going to the Melbourne I don’t know if that is true or not.
