A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within South Dakota Who Chose To Be Featured
541. Jessica927 : I'm looking for my cousin‚ who was adopted at birth. I don't have much info except that it was through a Catholic maternity home. My best guess of the year is between 1964 and 1968‚ but that could be off by a few years. The last name is Speelman‚ and the family was living in NJ at the time‚ but there is a good chance she was sent out of state.
543. Pikagirl420 : I have very little to go on. Im not even positive if im related. My dad was dating a girl who was pregnant shortly after they broke up. She had the baby and while baby was still very young before my dad could find out if baby was related to us or not‚ the mom died in a car accident my dad said. Im thinking the baby was younger than me (i was born in 2000) but I dont know for sure. My dad's name is Harold Rick and my name is Tashara Anderson. I have 3 more siblings who i have gotten in contact with already. This is the only one that we haven't found yet
545. JenniferJohnsonTro : I am a female adoptee searching for my birth mother/father/siblings. My adoptive parents named me Jennifer Johnson. I was born in South Dakota on 02/04/1971‚ and was adopted in less then a month after my birth.
My adoption was done through Lutheran Child and Family services. I was adopted by a Lutheran Minister and his wife and have an older sister and brother - also both adopted‚ but not blood related.
I was told I am part German and English - although I have nothing to back that up. I was told my birthmother was still in high school at the time I was born.
548. Mcdearduff12 : Father - Justin Victor Dearduff
Dell Rapids‚ SD / Sioux Falls‚ SD
I think birth mother was also in Dell Rapids at the time. I believe the birth mother's last name to be Koob or Kube or Coob or Cube possibly?
Justin was born in 1969 and this birth and adoption happened sometime when he was around 15-17 years old.
549. Sdgurl72 : Hi. Looking for biological parents. Lutheran social services in Sioux falls SD. I believe Mom was from Webster SD. And Dad was from up north of Watertown. Mom named me Heather Jean. I'm interested in getting to know my family and history. As well as medical. These last 3 years there have been medical things that doctors are not able to figure out. And‚ well‚ it would be nice to have some family background with medical history. Plus seeing if I have any siblings. That would be fun. I hope you're feeling my vibe and you will fight the fear of meeting me. Giggles I don't bite. Giggles. And I'm not mad. You did what you had to do in that time.
