So my mother who was 14 at the time was taken to many different states and she doesn’t know the day or place she gave birth at. I’ve been searching for her ever since I learned of her. My mother was told she passed and I’d like to find out if it’s true or not.

396. StarrLouisa : My brother was born Tracy Lee Berry in Tulare California to Bonnie Faye and Leon Wenfred Berry. My mom was running with my brother and caught maybe in Sioux Falls SD where my brother was taken by the state. They put a notice in the paper March 6th 1967 to announce that a custody hearing would take place on March 28‚ 1967 at 2:00. I believe Bettie E Tracy was his social worker maybe. I had a notice placed in Tracys file years ago giving my permission to release my name and other identifying information to him if he opened his adoption records. My birth name was Starr Louisa Berry. My adopted name was Debbie Lea Thomas. Now McClarnon.
399. Christistrangstalien : My half sister was born in Minneapolis‚ Minnesota. Believed to be born at Swedish Hospital‚ which is now Hennepin County Medical Center. My half sister was adopted through Lutheran Social Services. However‚ she was adopted out of state. Her birth mother‚ my mom‚ named her but I’m not sure the birth name given. Possibly Tiffany. My half sister does have a full brother‚ as they share the same father. He was born in 1967. She was born prior to that. I have found our brother.

My Fathers name is Randall aka Randy Owen he and my uncle Geoff had a fling with the lady and I am unsure if the brother is question may be my sibling or my cousin but I want to know. Last I remember my Dad saying is the lady took off with the boy and gave him up for adoption I think in Louisiana or Georgia I’m not sure. I do know it was a closed adoption.
