If I remember correctly‚ the adoption agency was Catholic Social Services‚ and my husband believes it was an open adoption. We have been unable to get any information from her birth mother‚ and she denies having any knowledge of my step-daughter's whereabouts‚ although my husband believes that a friend of the birth mother's family is the adopted family.

Cash was born July 28‚ 1994 in Rapid City. We have located his biological father‚ DeWayne Griffith‚ and we believe his mother's name is/was Bonnie Dickey‚ but we do not know if this is her maiden name‚ if it has changed‚ or where she is originally from. Cash's adoption was coordinated or assisted by a friend of his adoptive family named Vicki Tomlin‚ also from east Texas.
