356. Per.Fred.A : STEVE‚ you were adopted through the Catholic adoption agency. Didn’t know that I had a child until for about 15 years after the fact. The adoption most likely happened in SD through the Catholic adoption agency. I believe that baby was a male with a possible name of Steve (not confirmed) I worked for her dad on a farm within 15 miles from Parkston‚ we developed a relationship I was 20 or 21 mother was 16 or younger.
359. FindingBruceLee : If anyone can help me, please.
My Grandmother always told me she adopted out a son when she was 15 around the mid to late 60s, she was still going to Marty Mission in South Dakota and wouldn’t have been welcomed home with a baby. It was a closed adoption and she always wanted to find him.
He might have red hair, white passing, he was named Bruce Lee, I believe the adoptive parents kept the name. At the time of his adoption his mother was a nurse and his father was a farmer? He was born in Sioux Falls South Dakota, adopted through either Lutheran Social Services or Catholic Social Services.
My Unci has since passed away, I tried so hard to search high and low for you when she was still here. She told me your birthday and I forgot when it was. She had a picture that was lost to us of you. Your mom loved you Bruce. We all would love to welcome you back into your family. We are Oglala Lakotas, mostly from Wanbli SD area, but my mother (your sister) and I live in Minneapolis MN. You are a big brother, an uncle, great uncle, cousin and nephew.
