Grace Hospital
1385. Shawna74 : I’m searching for my birth father. His name is Richard Boyd. From the Manitoba area. He would have been born in the early/mid 50’s and I believe that he is married with 2 more children. I think that his mother suffered from cancer around 1974 (the year I was born).
1386. Cindy3113 : I am looking to find my birth mother. I was born February 14‚ 1976 in Edmonton‚ Alberta. Through Ancestry‚ I have found half siblings from my father’s side. They were all raised by their birth mothers‚ who are all different women‚ except for 2 of them. My father is now deceased. His name was James (Jim) and his last name was Mayo or Froehlich. My siblings and I were all born in different provinces‚ so my birth father was a traveller.
1387. MN123 : My birth name was Katherine McKinnon (not certain of last name spelling). I was born at Royal Alexandra Hospital in Edmonton‚ Alberta on August 14‚ 1968. I am searching for birth parents and older sibling born in Montreal‚ Canada in 1964. I believe that my birth family was from British Columbia.
1388. RNGaerin : I was born on April 27‚ 1967 in Edmonton in the Misercoda hospital. I am searching for my birth parents - for health reasons. I think my birth name was Brenda Lee Mariani.
1389. Valeekaa : I know this is a long shot
I have always known I was adopted‚ and have always known I had a sister that was 1-2 years younger than me.
Over the years‚ I’ve found 4 other siblings - but have still never found this one sister.
She would have been born between 1992 and 1993‚ in Edmonton Alberta. She would have been under "baby Ellis"‚ and was adopted by a family in Brooks‚ Alberta‚ Canada.
Our birth mother confirmed we don’t share the same father‚ but our birth mothers name is Tammy Ellis‚ originally from Nova Scotia‚ Canada.
Tammy had me at 16‚ so she would have been 17-18 when my sister was born.
I have been searching for nearly 20 years now.
Adoption records are open in Alberta‚ but unfortunately my birth mother has a 30+ year history of substance abuse‚ and has been missing for just over a year now. She has no interest in communication when she is using (we spoke briefly last year‚ and prior to that she was missing again for another two years until police finally found her). Without her‚ I cannot obtain records.

I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
