911. Brandylrose : As far as I know, my birth mother gave birth to a daughter on January 3, 1971. She had just turned 18 on December 30, 1970 (a few days before the baby was born). She gave birth to her at the Misericordia Hospital in Edmonton, but had been staying at a home for unwed Mother’s (possibly called Woodside?).
When she was born, my Mum had named her baby "Noelle Christine". My Mum has also shared with me that she remembered a lady named Maureen Love (possibly a social worker), another lady named Mrs. Wood, and another lady named Mrs. Ghouzley (pronounced GA-ZOO-LEE).
Other things that my Mum has mentioned is that the home where she stayed was located near Griesbach Barracks, around 97 Street in Edmonton.
I was raised as an only child, and I would love the opportunity to get to know my older sister. I always wanted a sister.
