I am looking for my dad’s birth parents. He was born along with his twin brother at Calgary General Hospital on August 13th‚ 1975. We do not know anything about their birth family and they were adopted twice‚ once at birth and again at 9 months old and were adopted in Manitoba. Their names were Shawn/Shaun/Sean and Casey‚ but not sure if that was their birth names or the ones given to them in the first adoption.

His mother’s surname was Baldwin‚ and was described as 5ft 2" with long dark hair‚blue eyes‚ 17 yrs old. Father was around 6ft tall with Sandy hair color. His adoptive parents (Sommerfeldt) belonged to the LDS church.and had several other children‚ and lived in southern Alberta.
The birth mother could have come from another area to have the baby‚ perhaps Edmonton.......I saw a school yearbook photo of a girl named Maureen Baldwin who fit the description/age ....and had some family resemblance to her son and grandson. It would be so wonderful for any help. Thank you!

Her name was Betty Marie Elen (shortened from Eleniak) Her maiden name was Sickles. She was born sometime around 1944. Her mother's name was Julia Sickles she also had the last names Doxtator and Jones. Betty was removed from her mother's care when she was 5 years old along with r of her siblings. None of Julias 1st 5 children ever seen there mother again once they were put in the mohawk residential school.
My dad's name was Jerry Peter Elen (shortened from Eleniak) he was born in 1940 in Edmonton Alberta. He passed away in December of 1998. In Edmonton.
