The adoption was final April 1938 in Wetaskiwin Alberta, Canada. Jessie signed over her parental rights in April 1936. John & Francis Campbell of Wetaskiwin Alberta adopted Pauline, her name was changed to Delores Ann Campbell. The Campbells owned the Campbell Funeral Chapel in Wetaskiwin. My mother Pauline/Delores had started her search for her mother just before she became ill and passed away. I have learned that Jessie Cunningham’s mother may have been Domitille Courtepatte.
