Born in August at the University of Alberta, given to an older couple I believe my mom said they were teachers, she was given up right after birth. My mom didn’t even hold her baby because she knew she’s never let go and knew at the time couldn’t give her the life she deserved. She’s mixed of white and native (her father is native)

I’m simply looking to connect with biological family members, just to complete my identity.
I have a gratifying family life of my own now. My second daughter was born on Halloween 2016, wife’s family is fantastic too - Like i said, life is good. I find that as my immediate family expands I have a new-found interest to learn more about the story of my birth and adoption.
I’ve filled-out all "official" Alberta government paperwork to show that I wouldn’t mind meeting family. I’m just opening more doors here online and putting a light-on in the window to welcome you too.
I’m active on DNA search sites, and Alberta has unsealed the original adoption records for me. I actually have my original bio-names of "Gannon" and "Foran." I have first names too, but haven’t made any approaches yet. I may eventually, but don’t want to disrupt anyone’s lives.
I’m also aware of a brother/half-brother also given up for adoption in 1975. I’m very interested in this brother, as I grew up thinking I was an only child. If he is searching too, it would be great for him to see I’m out here, and may even have SOME answers.

I named her Melanie Marie Letendre. 1 year later she was apprehended by the Slave Lake Child Welfare in Slave Lake Alberta Canada. I believe the social workers name was Florence Pearson. In 1975 the High Prairie Child welfare badgered me (I was 21) and wouldn’t release my daughter. They eventually talked me into signing her over and we never saw her again. I want to see her before I die just once to see if she is still alive and how she is. She just turned 44. I am 66 and ill. I would appreciate ant help. thank you
