931. TammyFehr : Was born at David Thompson Health Regional. Trying to find my dad more than my mom, she was a drunk is all I know from my adoptive parents and biological grandparents. But no one wants to talk about any of it.
932. ValleeL : i am looking for my brother that was born in Grande Prairie or Spirit River in 1968. My mother name is Irene Tailleur she was only 16 when she gave birth.
933. Whitepublow : Searching in Canada for the birth mother of
Elizabeth Jacqueline White this was her adopted name, unfortunately no information was shared with ’Jackie’ of her birth name during her life time. Always knowing she was adopted by Elizabeth Publow & Charles Edward (Ted) White.
Jackie married leaving Canada to raise her family in Australia passing away not knowing her true family connections.
I would very much appreciate any help to reconnect with her birth family
934. Evan_IsSearching : Hi. My name is Evan Walter.
Currently, I’m on a search for a child of my nana’s who was given away at birth. My nana (Leanne) became pregnant at 18 and gave birth when she was 19. Her baby was born December, 1959. We were told by the government that the baby was born a boy and were given to a couple (the gov was very vague about the details we asked for), so we know he was definitely adopted, just not when.
My papa (my nana’s husband) believes the baby’s father was a man name Robert Card, although, he isn’t 100% sure. My great uncle (nana’s brother) knows that the father was immature and dorky looking, but won’t give us any details past that.
I have tried 23andMe, originally trying to find out more about my genetic makeup because of my father missing a dad. That mystery was solved, thankfully! My point is that I have not found any relatives on 23andMe that could possibly be my uncle. After my family and I found out about him, we truly have been wanting to meet him.
Kindest regards,
Evan.
935. JeanMc : Tamara McKay was born at Holy Cross Hospital in Calgary Alberta at about 5:45 pm on 3 July 1979. I took care of her in my room while i was in the hospital. I had knitted a Snoopy dog with a dog tag on the knitted collar with the year embroidered on it. I left this stuffed Snoopy dog with her in the hospital. I had her photo taken by the photographer while I was there. I kept most of the photos but gave a couple to the social worker for her to give to the adoptive parents.
