He was born in the early hours of July 10th‚ 1970‚ at Truro General Hospital in Nova Scotia. His adoption was arranged through Dr. Ross McInnis and the paperwork was processed by the Truro Courts.
His given first and middle name at birth was Maxwell Stanley‚ though it was likely changed during the adoption process.
As Dr. McInnis was a family friend of the adoptive couple‚ years later he offered my mother some comfort by suggesting that my brother may have attended a university in Nova Scotia and possibly achieved athletic success during that time (approximately 1988 to 1992‚ depending on the program and any gap years).
