I lived in the same apartment building as your parents and am the Mother of 4 of your cousins. (Your Dad is my ex-husband"s brother). I was the last person on your Dad’s side of the family to see you boys when I served your biological Mom with court papers as your Dad was trying to gain custody of you. You were just over 6 months old at that time. Shortly after you were taken to Nova Scotia and we never seen you again. It was such a HUGE loss for the while family that nobody had ever really recovered from. I hope to find you and let you know that you have a very big family who misses you iso ncredibly much! 531. JoPe82 : My birth mother is from Cheticamp Nova Scotia. My biological father was a fisherman from Montreal‚ Canada. I was born in 1982 in Cheticamp Nova Scotia. My birth mother was a teenager at the time of my adoption.
532. Tricia7571 : Iam searching for my daughter she was born Nichole Lyn Doucet in Halifax Nova Scotia at the Grace Maternity Hospital.she was born 1 lbs 6 ounces on May 12.1990 she was 8 months when she was adopted out
533. Anthonyoleary : I am the uncle. My sister Brandy had you during a time when she was unable to take care of you. I have thought of you often and wonder how you are and what kind of person you became.
534. AmandaElizTy88 : I’m looking for my grandmother or any living family member of Mary Albina Gillis‚ or Leonard Laliberte (my grandfather) (deceased) . Or Mary Gillis or Mary Laliberte or any other name that my dad’s birth mother might go by. (I will explain in a minute ). Leonard my grandfather and Mary Gillis had a son Leonard Jr Laliberte who passed away 4 days after he was born in Cambellton New Brunswick. Leonard my grandfather had 3 other children who he had claimed to have given up for adoption he said that their mother wasn’t mentally able to be a mother and he was too busy with his life to take care of 3 children. 40 years later after my father‚ Albert Joseph John‚ and my aunt Rose Marie re connected and found Leonard(my grandfather) they were all re united again they have been searching their whole entire lives to this day for their birth parents. Lucky they found Leonard but still are in desperate search of their mother. They were even in the news papers the three children that were looking for a family to adopt them so they wouldn’t be split up three children Albert Joseph‚ Rose Marie and Vincent James. Well they all got split up and moved around from foster home to another foster home to eventually being adopted by different family’s in different city’s and the siblings lost touch but reconnected over the years and now have access to connecting to each other again which is great but still each one of them has hopes to learn anything about their birth mother. Leonard dropped them off at an orphanage in the 1960s some time after I’m assuming 1967 because that’s when their 4th child Leonard Jr had passed away so I believe they were all together before then.
536. AmandaElizTy88 : 3 children were dropped off at an orphanage by their father Leonard Laliberte‚ Albert Joseph John‚ Rose Marie‚ and Vincent Paul James. In search of birth mother or any living relative they were all split up adopted into different families. If you know anything about this please message me also had a brother who passed away in 1967 4 days after he was born his name was Leonard and his mother was Mary Gillis I don’t know for sure if this is their birth mother but hopefully someone messages.
537. Sm000 : Searching for an older half brother I just learned of. If this sounds like it could be you please reach out!
We share the same father‚ named Carson‚ who fathered you at 14. You were potentially born in Vernon‚ BC‚ in or around 1990. I don’t know who your mother is and based on the age of our father when you were born I assume you were adopted‚ and that she was also young. I have been researching our family tree and recently came across a facebook comment mentioning Carson having a son at 14 which I had never heard of until now.
I don’t have any other information as of right now but am hoping to find you‚ brother!
539. MissingMacDonald : Looking for any information about a person with the last name MacDonald who would have given birth to a baby boy at Toronto Western Hospital in April of 1962.
She was from Nova Scotia and was unmarried at the time‚ so its likely she came to the Armagh House in Clarkson/Toronto‚ Ontario to give birth in secret‚ which means its also highly likely she was forced to give the child up for adoption.
Records indicate she passed away a year after giving birth‚ but the records I have may also be lies/fabricated to cover-up the forced adoption.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
