436. Cddaly1958 : I was born 3/13/58 at Evangeline hospital in St John’s New Brunswick Canada and my birth mother put me up for adoption in her home province of Nova Scotia shortly thereafter. The name I was called was Charles Dale and I don’t know the last name. I was adopted by my parents in the USA. The adoption was finalized in Buffalo NY 3/3/59.
437. Sebastain : I, the grandmother of the child Sebastain, would like to find my grandson. My husband and I have no intention of disrupting his life. His birth mother will never know as she is mentally unprepared . We would just like to know how he did in life and what he looks like if only from a distance. We have no dillusions of Sebastain excepting us into his life. We also, do not know, if his adopted parents ever told him he was adopted. They had one other adopted son. The parents were catholic . He worked as a carptner and the adopted mother was a stay at home mother. The father was involved in the Knights of Columbus. His given name at birth was sebastain but the parenst may have changed that . Social services did contact the family but without any response. They refuse to even talk about the adoption when called. When Sebastain was adopted, we wanted an open adoption. We were unaware that this meant only if the adopted family allowed contact. We are aging and would just like to know if he is doing well .

and she was a stay at home mom. They have 1 other adopted son. Catholic and very involved in the Knights of Columbus. Given name at birth was Sabastain . Have no idea if they kept that name. he had blue eyes and blonde hair at birth. My daughter has issues and resided at bethany house before the child’s birth. She was unable to care for Sebastain. I had cancer and did not know what the future looked like for me. Adoption was the best for the child. I, the grandmother , would like to know how Sebastain has done in life and what he looks like. There will be no interference from either me or his birth grand father. The birth mother will not know if we found him. We have no intentions of disrupting his life.

Jollygoodyellow : I am looking for a sibling born in 1967 or 1968, we think the mother was at a home for unwed mothers, and the child was likely born at the Victoria General Hospital or Grace Maternity. The birth mother’s name was Patsy MacPhee or McPhee (her father was Angus and had brothers Dave and Steve). They were in the Sydney area on MacAulay’s Lane in Sydney, and my dad was living on Henry Street (his name is Donald). They were both around 16 years old.

For some reason I have the name Powell or Leblanc in mind as my fathers’ name…. However nothing scientific.
