316. BMarie7 : Donna Marie MacDonald
Searching for biological father. I was born Dec 29 1943, Glace Bay, Nova Scotia. Placed in care 1944. My mother was in the army and was involved with my biological father around Mar 30, 1943 - Apr 14, 1943. She trained in Aldershot NS & Camp Borden with the CWAC at this time and was currently working as a seamstress.
She learnt he was married with one adopted child and decided to place me for adoption and join the military. I’ve since had several DNA tests done and show strong connections to Acadian names.
My adoption record states that he was a Sgt. baptised Catholic and 31 at the time of my adoption. He would have been born around 1912 -1913.
Any help would mean the world to me. Thank you!
