391. Jandl : Name at birth was Anthony Robert Josey
392. Hollyhorne83 : I don’t know a whole lot. I do know his father is Douglas mosher and his mother’s name was Winnie‚ not sure what her last name was as she was in foster care at the time. I was told that my brothers name was supposed to be Doug but I’m not sure if the adoptive parents changed it. I don’t have much more info than this as it was my great grandmother that signed the adoption papers because my father was only 16 at the time and wasn’t givin the choice to keep him. My great grandmother passed a long time ago so I can’t really ask her anything. I know it definitely a long shot but I’d really love to find my brother
396. AllenAtwood : I was born in Halifax In 1968‚
Here is what i know about my birth family.
I had a grand father that died in 1962 in a car accident.
My birth mother had (has) epilepsy.
My mother had 3 other children that i know of . first a boy born in 1966 then twins in 1967 a boy and a girl.
I think the twins were adopted by another family member . An uncle or aunt .
397. TrevorSydorenko : I am looking for my fathers brother/sister that was put up for adoption sometime after june 1949, to early 1950, by my grandmother Tamara Lenzowa (Lencow), when she came over to canada from Ukraine by way of germany.
Unfortunetly she never talked about it and took the information to her grave in 1999, my father also did not talk about it and he took what he knew to the grave in may of 2020.
Its a long shot, but im hoping to find something.
398. NicoleBB : I was put up for adoption at the home of the guardian angel in Halifax Nova Scotia , I think my birth name was Nicole boutilier , I was givin up for adoption at only a a month or two old
402. Krylyo : Hi.
I’m Kris. I was born in 1973, mom was 17 y.o. So my brother would be older and may have been born between 1967-71. He may be biracial. Likely born in/near Halifax. Mom returned* to the States soon after but is indeed Canadian.
Mom’s family name is Jackson and lived in Halifax Nova Scotia.
I apologize that I don’t have more information to share, because things are complicated. Also I want to respect others privacy. But if any of this sounds remotely familiar, please feel free to reach out.
Thank you so much for your time.
