541. Robynforbes : Tracey Lynn Collison was my birth name. I was born in Halifax‚ Nova Scotia on March 26‚ 1969. I was born to a 20 year old woman from out of province. My background is Irish‚ Protesant. I am looking for any birth relatives.
543. Alost1971son : All I know is that I was named at birth Kyle Barry Maclaughlan...not sure if last name spelled correctly as my adopted mother only told me this info and that I was born in Halifax NS and that my birth mother came from New Brunswick. I was told she was 17yrs old at the time of my birth.
545. Gordita1845 : I don’t know adoption date. Not exactly sure of province but most likely Nova Scotia or Ontario‚ (most likely Toronto). I have mother’s name & not much else. Can a search be done?
549. WeymouthHayes : My grandfather Ross Hayes was raised by his grandparents‚ his mother Edyth Hayes became his sister. I know he was born in the Hayes family home in Weymouth North Nova Scotia. From what I’ve been told his mother got pregnant within the war and only two of her sisters I believe knew who the biological father was but no one would ever say and the secret has been taken to the grave with all three of them. My grandfather has now passed and he never wanted to know‚ however I’d like to know for myself based on medical history of the family. To know there are relatives out there that I don’t know would be an added bonus
551. Cheekybrat6767 : I was born to Grace Julia Gunn at the Grace Maternity Hospital in Halidax‚ NS. I went to my adoptive parents in June of 1967‚ their names were Harold and Queenie Adams. The adoption was closed in December of 1967
553. BrianGayton : I'm trying to trace the biological parents of my great grandfather‚ he was likely born into the Roberts family (by DNA hints) in Nova Scotia and may have had a Campbell father (by various succeeding children names).
555. DylanM : I am searching for the birth parents on my son who was adopted through the Children’s Aid Society of Cape Breton. He was born on February 25‚ 2007 at The Cape Breton Regional Hospital and adopted in April of the same year. We know that his birth mom was 17 years old at the time and his birth father was around 20. His birth father played guitar and basketball. Both parents participated in programs through the agency and ultimately chose us to be the adoptive parents‚ anonymously. We did have contact from Adoption Nova Scotia about 13 years ago regarding a possible health issue that a sibling had been born with. We have a detailed history of both birth parents. We know that his maternal birth grandmother is 57-59 years old and worked at a call center in Sydney NS at the time of our son’s birth.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
