My mother was born in Halifax NS to a woman who I believe to be named Johanna Lisa Hanson....unsure of exact spelling however she was of Scandinavian decent...married to a Canadian man I believe. 235. ShelleyNick : Hello
I am looking for my half brother, born about the time line above but I was small and I don’t know 100%. You were born in Yarmouth, NS to a Mother named Natalie Bateman, you were given up at birth. I heard your name was Jason Dean, we would have shared the same father. I have done my DNA, hoping to find you.
The dates maybe off as I was young and that’s all I could get close too. Rumour was you stayed in the Yarmouth, Pubnico area but no fact in that.
236. KatrinaMarie11 : I know that my birthfather’s name is Ian Ripley, and that he is 100% Inuit (I only know that because I am 50% and my biological mother is basically 100% caucasian) but that is all I know. He signed off all rights at birth and although I have contact with my birthmother and her family, I don’t even know where to begin to look for him. I’ve had a mom and dad my whole life, but the unknown is getting to me.

I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
