526. FrankTemple : I just found out I have a daughter named Andrea Ramirez that was placed for adoption. I never of the possibility of another child out there and I’m trying to connect.
527. MLark : Searching for birth family. Female.
I was born 9-24-1971 in Great Falls‚ Montana.
My birth mother was half American Indian and
lived on a nearby reservation. She was in her early thirties. The adoption records are sealed. The reservation
did not know of the pregnancy or the birth. My
birth father was Eastern Europian. I lived with a social worker until I was adopted at 2 months of age. My name given by the social worker was Eleanor. Which was changed at adoption. I was
adopted by a wonderful family. I am just looking
to trace my heritage and hopefully meet my birth family. Name given by social worker was Eleanor.
528. Angela320mn : Looking for my brother who was born in Billings Montana I believe. Our mother placed you for adoption at birth‚ not sure when you were adopted. Or mother’s maiden name was Lindsay could possibly be under Wells also.
530. Jed406 : I was told by an uncle that my mom had a baby girl around the fall of 1965 at the Florence Crittenton Home in Helena‚ Montana ‚ and gave her up for adoption at birth
531. LilKaren : I am a female adoptee born in Louisville‚ Kentucky on February 10‚ 1970.
Birth mother gave me up for adoption in Louisville‚ Kentucky in February 1970. Birth mom was 20 years of age when she delivered.
Birth sibling - sister was given up for adoption in Missouri a few years previous of my birth in 1970.
Birth father was 23 years of age in 1970.
533. Jef715 : ISO of a half (maybe full) brother. He was born in a Catholic Home for Unwed mothers in Montana sometime around 1953 /1954. The nuns at the facility used to call him Bimbo. His birthmother’s name would have been Joyce Lund. We think she was living near Great Falls or Billings at the time. Was there such a home in White Sulfur Springs? The photo is Joyce and the possible father.
535. Ktschoenberg : UPDATE: 21 January 2025:
We found my dad’s birth mother through Ancestry.com in 2017. My adopted grandmother kept a receipt from the courthouse when she was getting his birth certificate. This receipt had my dad’s biological first and last name on it (Nobody knew this until after my grandmother died‚ and we went through her boxes.) My dad and I did a DNA test on ancestry.com‚ and we were matched with a woman with the same last name as my biological grandmother‚ Heller (this 1st/2nd cousin was Linda Heller from Helena. The same city my biological grandmother was from. You really can’t make this up!). Linda said she had heard stories about a baby‚ but it was taboo to have a baby out of wedlock‚ so no one asked questions. However‚ it was a Hallmark moment at the end of the day. They even came to my Navy retirement ceremony in 2018.)
We are now trying to find my dad’s birth father. He is of Norwegian descent outside Oslo (born in the early 1900s.) The family name was Anderson‚ though with nine sisters and two brothers coming to the US‚ the last name may not be Anderson. My biological grandfather came to Helena‚ Montana‚ perhaps to work in the gold and silver mines‚ and that is where he met my biological grandmother‚ Dorothy Heller.
Written 17 years ago in 2008:
I am searching for my father’s birth family. He was told he was born in Elliston‚ Montana‚ on February 18‚ 1938‚ but the register of birth we received a few weeks ago shows his birth in Avon‚ Montana. Both are in Powell County within a few miles of each other.
We do not have any names for his birth parents‚ though his birth certificate receipt has his name as Joseph Heller‚‚ which might have been his mother’s last name. The nun who wrote to my adopted grandmother said the mother of the baby had brown hair and brown eyes‚ ‚ 5 ft 5 inches tall‚ and was 21 at the time of my father’s birth. My sister and I have put her birth year at around 1916 or 17‚ though we are unsure if the age she gave the nun was correct. The nun also said she was from a longstanding and respected German Catholic family from Helena‚ Montana. We have no information about the father. We believe both parents might have had German and Dutch ancestry‚ as the nuns told my grandmother this.
My dad was very handsome when he was younger‚ and he had blondish-brown hair. When he grew out his beard it was red. My dad turned 70 this year‚ and he only started to go grey a few years ago. He has blue-green eyes and "bear-claw" feet (my sister got his feet...thank God!) He has very bad migraine headaches and hay fever. (My sister got the headaches‚ my brother got the hay fever‚ and I just got his good looks‚ or so he says) LOL
We think there might be curly hair on his side of the family‚ as my sister‚ brother‚ and I all have curly hair. We all had freckles as children‚ as did my dad. He loves cars‚ travel‚ and maps‚ and he knows every capital of every country in the world. He also loves cats‚ though he is allergic to them. We always had Siamese cats growing up.
He has a sunny outlook on life and will talk to anyone‚ though he says deep down he is shy‚ which was a shock to find out since he can stand in line at the bank and‚ by the time he gets to the counter‚ will know everything about the person in front of him.
If this person sounds like he could be your long-lost son‚ brother‚ uncle‚ or cousin‚ please e-mail me. We have been waiting to meet you for many years. Thank you.
Best Regards‚

537. Thairapy4581 : I may have a brother or sister either adopted adopted somewhere in the vicinity of Philadelphia PA or the Shenandoah Valley in VA. I honestly do not know where or when this would have taken place‚ just that my stepmother had found some adoption paperwork relative to my father and a former live in girlfriend of his named Kim. We lived together in the Media area of PA and she was from VA‚ where I think she moved after her and my father broke up.
538. Unclecharlie : Just checking to see if my birth father is listed on my biological birth certificate. Father gave me records when I was 45 + but the biological records and birth names were not included.
540. 17alivia : Name: Raymond earl storm
Dad: Raymond William Storm
Mom: Maude May Gymee (Storm)
Wife: Helen Marie Anderson (Storm)
Son: Charles Raymond Storm
