A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Montana Who Chose To Be Featured
286. JasmineAyers : I don’t know much about my brother. Except that as far as I know he was adopted before I was born. We shared the same father, brad Ayers, but had different mothers. He was around 2 or 3 when I was born so I would say he probably was born in 1997 or 1996.
287. Daren0844 : I know my mom was 17 at the time of my birth I was born at St Vincent Hospital Billings Montana 2 weeks after I was born I was adopted. My original birth certificate shows my moms name as Cindy L Nelson.
288. HannahGerkowski : Looking for a sister put up for adoption. I am not sure of the details, but she would be around 10 years older than me (22) our mother is Julie Ebert (Julie Gerkowski). I’m pretty sure she was up up for adoption when my mom was young, I believe it was in Arizona or Missouri, where we all live now. I don’t have a lot of for sure information, I’m sorry. If anything seems even fort of fitting, please talk to me.
289. JenClark27 : Trying to find my Mother’s Birth parents‚ for informational purposes only. My mother was born in Helena Montana. She adopted through St Peter's orphanage in Helena. My mother was adopted by wonderful parents and we love and miss them dearly. Just wanting information for health and ancestry purposes.
290. VeroR : I am looking for Cecile Wilhelm, who is my great aunt. I know her father’s name was George R. Wilhelm and her mother’s name was Enriqueta Iglesias.
291. ComlyWhite2019 : My father was taken away and adopted back in 1942. For many years he knew very little about his biological family. He knew his father’s last name was White and he was taken away from his mother, because his biological father was never home or supporting him and his siblings.
In the late 90’s his biological niece found him and showed us some of the family including her father which was adopted as well. As well as his mother Nellie E. Poush White, his half siblings, Beverly, Bill, and Jerry and his biological father Denver Thomas White.
When I had the opportunity to talk to Denver, I asked him how many aunts and uncles I have. His answer was he was a truck driver that drove from coast o coast and he had a warm bed and cuddle buddy at every stop.
So I am looking for my biological family that are the children or grandchildren of Denver Thomas White.
If that names sounds like someone you know please, please contact me!
292. Nigel1979 : Looking for brother whose name at birth was Shaun or Shawn. Born to father Mario Johnson while he was in the Army married to your mother name of Thelma
294. Reeva : My grandmother may have given a daughter or son up for adoption when she divorced my grandfather. We just found this through DNA testing. We are looking to find this family member. The DNA testing initials are DM. My grandmother lived in Idaho in 1943 when she gave up the baby. She may have went to Montana or Washington since it was close. This persons daughter named Donna matched as my cousin on 23 and me.
299. HH865 : Searching for my older brother, given up for adoption at birth in June of 1977. Catholic adoption services were utilized through the Florence Crittenton home in Helena MT.
300. Dsyeaton : We looked for decades for a missing cousin. We found his sibling several years ago via cousinconnect and him this year (2019) via DNA, about two weeks before their birth mother our aunt died.
She was born in 1960 and adopted in FL. He was born in 1958, adopted in CA, and lives in UT.
At our aunt’s funeral, neighbors told us that in her last months, she told them she had children. Three or four children. Neighbors have told us that the aunt (born 1936) became pregnant in high school (1950-1955 if this is true) or at age 17 (1953-1954 if this is true) and was sent to FL to have the baby.
We do not know much: mother’s maiden name, if listed: Anderson, birth state of mother: MA, she was very tall and thin, loved animals and dogs, Danish, German, English ethnicity. We have done DNA on ancestrydna and 23andme.
If this is you....or you think it could be you because part of the story matches...please do DNA testing so that we can see if we match!
And we are unsure why there were said to be: three or four children. Could it have been twins, which run in our family? Or is there another child with a different birth year and possible different birth and adoption state? These birth years are only guesses...it conceivably could have been any time after her birth in 1936 as maybe a teen (1949 or before?) to menopause (maybe before 1986?) but most likely in the 1950s or 1960s. Do any of these guesses for you or someone you know? We are a dozen cousins looking for decades!
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
