He is/was from a very large family, one of 16 or so siblings, is/was very tall (6’4”) and was in the navy. Also may have been along haul trucker. He and my birth mother Marilyn were not married and were forced to give me up. She was from North Dakota an was attending beauty school in Billings around 1959-1960. She passed in 1978. She had a brother Bill, sisters Linda and Marva. George’s daughter from the Billings area contacted Bill re: me less than 10 years ago looking for me, but as it had been a closed adoption Bill had no answers for her. My wife found my mother’s birth family a year ago and I now have 3 new precious siblings, a sister and 2 brothers, whom we have grown very close to. I was born first so they did not know of me, and their father was not my father.

My adopted mother was Carol Miller at the time. She divorced my first adopted dad them married again. My first adopted dad gave up his rights to me. Dean Eckholt , being married to my mother adopted me around 1970. I would like to be able to talk to my birth mother to get some information on my history.
164. Brandietharp : Adoption agency was Lutheran Social Services. Birth parents were teenagers. Birth mother wrote a letter in 1979 explaining why she chose adoption and that she wanted to be found and that She gave a baby ring at birth. The letter was put in the adoption file at the agency.
