Haw (now Phelps), who met at Morehead Staate University. I do not know my sister’s name since all documents that I have access to only list her as "Baby Girl Haw" or "Haw."
203. DLD5 : Looking for a baby girl born Sep 21, 1958 in Helena, MT to Arilda Wandler at St John’s Catholic hospital. Birth name was Elizabeth Ann Wandler. Mother was at Florence Crittendon home before giving birth. Adoption was through Catholic Adoption Services.
206. Heloman88 : Birth mother was a resident of Florence Crittenton home in Helena. Birth was in Great Falls apparently (not sure why not in Helena). Child was adopted at birth by a Christian ranching couple from Billings area. Adoption arranged by the Assembly of God district council. May have been an informal adoption. Child may have been named Joe. Child would be 1/4 Blackfeet Indian, although he may not know it, or that he was adopted. Birth mother was Maxine Louise Kindall, 18 years old. Birth father was William "Willie" White, 18 years old, a 1/2 Blackfeet Indian. Both were from Browning, MT, although mothers family relocated to Malta during pregnancy. Birth probably occurred sometime between August and October, but could be a month or two either way.

Her family advised against the marriage. She still has the letter he wrote. For health reasons, I am hoping he is looking for me.
