A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Montana Who Chose To Be Featured
361. CindyB2 : I am searching for my half sister. Birth name is Cecile Maxine Wilhelm. Adopted out at approx. 2-3 years. Most likely, born in Ismay, Montana on April 22, 1943, per the annulment/divorce decree. Enriqueta Iglasias Wilhelm is her birth mother. Cecile was listed on my mother’s annulment/divorce decree of Miles City, Custer County, Montana, of April 28, 1945. The annulment/divorce from George Rodell Wilhelm declared no children born to the marriage. My mother, Enriqueta died April 12, 2005, in Fort Worth, Texas but lived in Helena, Montana, until 2000, when our dad went to heaven. Cecile has two half-sisters, and three half-brothers, from her mother’s marriage of 1947 with our dad, Richard Valentine Stern, and one of our brothers is now in heaven. Your siblings would like to find you Cecile.
362. Sky2004 : I’m the mother to the adopted child’s half sister and I’m trying to help her locate her half brother. They obviously have the same father.
The adopted boy, Mason, was adopted shortly after his mother gave birth. She didn’t want a reminder of her affair with my husband (ex husband now). She told me she was giving Mason to her cousins whom lived outside of Illinois (where we all live) in a different state. I don’t remember the state she told me tho because that was 12-13 years ago.
I think my daughter deserves to know her one and only step sibling. And she wants to know him, too!
When college time comes along for both of them, I don’t want them to meet and fall in love and end up finding out too late that they are siblings. Mason’s mother, Mandy, shouldn’t want that either.
I think Mandy is afraid that if I find Mason, I will tell him about his real dad and what a narcissist he is and that Mandy doesn’t want her son to ever meet his birth father.
365. Angel69127 : I am searching for my grandma’s oldest sister. She was born in Oregon in 1919 but I don’t know if that is where the adoption took place. Her birth mom’s family originated from Virginia or West Virginia. Her birth mom died July 6, 1919. The name on the records I’ve found show her birth name as Marie Lois Hodges.
367. Starrock : I was born in Sandpoint Idaho on Oct 11, 1989. My birth mom’s name is Tina Lynn Rutledge Stratemeyer. She said my birth father’s name is John Coffey
368. Zleander7 : birth mother-Sheila Longacre Little
divorced at time of my birth from Jack Lille
married Al Carlson the same year
I was born in the Deaconess Hospital, Great Falls, Montana
layer handling adoption was Bill Scott
When adopted, or when the adoption was started, I was taken home by Bill and his wife Shirley Scott. This way, my parents had no contact with the birth mother.
369. Vollycat : My mother gave her daughter up for adoption on Jan 8th, 1967 in Helena Montana. My mother’s last name was Schmidt at the time. I was just looking to connect.
370. SunnyApril : I am looking for my brother born on St Patrick’s Day in Hennepin County Minnesota. Most likely at Hennepin County General Hospital. Placing agency was Lutheran Children’s Friend Society (Lutheran Social Service). Most likely birthdate is 17 Mar 1965. Birth mother’s last name is Johnson. Unsure of bio dad’s name or what was put on the birth certificate. St Patrick’s day 1965 in Minneapolis was a huge blizzard.
371. Shell33 : I was born in Helena Montana. My mother was in high school still. I was adopted soon after I was born. I was told my father was an athlete at Capital High School. I don’t think my parents stayed together.
373. Tabitha0911 : My dad Monroe was stationed in San Diego California with the US Marines in either 1973-1975 (?). He had claimed that he met a woman while in the marines‚ who became pregnant with his child. The only name that was ever mentioned was Jacqueline “Jackie”. My grandmother Ola had a picture of this little girl it was black and white‚ and on the bottom it said Jacqueline “Jackie” Morris. I cannot remember for sure but she was around the age of 2 or 3 with dark hair‚ & I believe had a dress on with a crochet shawl on‚ if I remember correctly. My dad was from southern Illinois at the time of his entry‚ although born in Caruthersville‚ MO. He enlisted into the Marine Corps at 17-18yrs of age. My dad has passed and I have no further information. I’ve included his Marine photo and hope that this may trigger a response.
375. The_Darkness : Good day to you all
I am searching for my birth parents... The information I’ve obtained thus far is they are of Romanian/Moldova/Germany/Hungarian decent. I’ve found out that a family immigrated to the US and their last names are ‘Schmidt/Schmied/Beglau/Kunusch/Stepanov’.
I also found out that there may have been another family that might have immigrated to Canada/USA and their last names are ‘Schwarz/Welty/Hamman/Mader/Hümer(Haters)/Black/Blacksmith/Smith/Smythe/Krumpholz’.... I am on Family tree DNA as well I uploaded to gedmatch as well...
I truly hope you see this...
To the other’s‚ that I don’t match with‚ may you find peace and solace within your search.
