226. AngelinaJWindels : She was adopted in Montana, Helena to a couple but I’m not sure of her birthday or what year but I know she’s in close range of my birthday 4/01/2000. 227. Tilahpatrice05 : My name is Tilah I am 27 years old. My mother is from Havre, Montana. She went on a trip to Lousiana with her Aunt, met a man and got pregnant with me. She remembers his name by Kenry Martin, of the Baton Rouge, LA area. My mother is A Indian member of the Chippewa Cree Tribe of Montana. My father is black. Therefor I feel my mother was ashamed of going outside her race. Not only that, but my mother had a husband back at home in Montana. Throughout the pregnancy she posed as though I was her native husband child and kept her infedelity a secret. After I was born, she tried her best to keep my African American features from shining through, she cut my curls off and allowed me to be passed around the reservation. In the care of relatives, I was abused, burned with cigarettes, skin conditions left untreated which led to infection, I was scolded down the front of my chest with hot soup, I was not cared for because I was black. I was taken to the Hospital Emergency Room too many times to count for injuries. Finally, text hospital staff had seen enough after I came in with a huge cut across my face... I was then taken away, and my mother had agreed to give me up. Only 2 years old. My life story from then, is not any better. I have a father out there and I’m looking for some answers hopefully God willing you can help.

I am thankful to be alive! I have a wonderful family and career, and a desire to express gratitude to the brave, selfless woman who carried me to term so I could be here. I am curious about my birth father and want him to know that I am alive, well, and enjoying life. My adoptive family was the greatest gift anyone could have given me. I hope I’m not too late in reaching out to you. Please know that you did the right thing in allowing me the chance to live out my life. I pray that you both are well and, regardless of your feelings toward reuniting with me, I understand and wish you all the very best life has to offer.
