His birth name was Malcom [Zachry] (Day). We have been told that he is of Caribbean Island decent (not sure how factual that is, although he did have a darker skin tone). We know that he was born in Bernalillo County, New Mexico and that the father, (my biological grandfather) played basketball for the University of New Mexico. We aren’t positive what agency his adoption was through, although the adoption took place in Denver, Colorado.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
