A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Nevada Who Chose To Be Featured
1036. Lbkw0603 : Looking for a someone named Mary. Hjhuffman is their ancestry name. My grandmother is their biological mother. We think Mary was born sometime between 1946-1949 in Iowa Colorado or maybe Utah or Nevada.
1037. Jesalison : We believe a baby girl was adopted by a couple from Nevada. Other details we were given:
One of the adoptive parents may be a heart doctor with a stay at home wife named Natalie. They had a young daughter and shared a love of horses. The name the birth mother gave the baby girl was Violet Victoria. Victoria is the birth mother’s middle name.
The birth mother traveled to another state shortly before her estimated due date to deliver the baby‚ we were told it was Utah. Her own mother‚ baby’s maternal grandmother‚ traveled with her. The birth mother showed me a picture she said she’d received of the baby girl at about five years old. She had a beautiful smile and was riding a horse. We believe the adoptive parents shared photos and information with the birth mother or her mother (maternal grandmother) for at least a handful of years. We aren’t sure if the agreement was to receive such information for only a specified period of time‚ whether or not she continues to receive it‚ or if contact was lost with the mother’s address upon one of her moves. (She has primarily resided in Arkansas).
The only thing we are sure of‚ is that a baby fathered by my brother was born in September of 2008.

1050. SkinProNicole : I am searching for my biological sister‚ born in California around July or August of 1989. At birth‚ her name may have been Julie or Julia Biesinger‚ though I believe it may have later been changed to Kimberly.
Her biological mother is Nancy Ann Giordano‚ and her biological father is Paul Biesinger. Our mother is of Italian and Puerto Rican descent. I am her older sister‚ Nicole Alexis Giordano-Velez—we share the same mother. I was five years old when she was born and I was there at the hospital to meet her. I didn’t understand why she never came home with us‚ and it’s something I’ve carried with me ever since.
This was likely a closed adoption‚ and although I don’t know the hospital‚ agency‚ or lawyer involved‚ I was told the adoptive family was well off financially and the adoption took place in California.
I have spent years hoping to find my sister. I’ve joined Ancestry.com and 23andMe‚ hoping one day our paths would cross. If you recognize this story or know someone it might apply to‚ please reach out. I would love to reconnect.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
