A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Nevada Who Chose To Be Featured
826. MimiKay : I was born 11-24-1965 at Sunrise Hospital outside Las Vegas Nevada at 7:39 am. Dr Emil F Cava signed my birth certificate I was not given to my adoptive parents until 1-18-1966. My adoption was not complete until 9-12-1966. This was through Nevada state welfare.
827. BECKIE_8 : My husband was given up at birth. We found his birth father through ancestry but he wants nothing to do with my husband and will give us no information on the birth mother. We know she was quite young possibly lived with her brother in Albion Ne. He was born in Tilden NE. His adopted parents picked him up shortly after his birth. This is about all the information we have.
829. Crundwell : she was my niece her name was Laurice Hoinoski or Bosted my sister was her mother her name was Diane Hoinoski or Bosted the baby was two and hafe at time of adoption Cathalic Charities handaled the adoption baby was mixed african american and white
830. MarissaCollins : I’m not sure which day or state she was born in. My grandfather handled the entire birthing and adoption process. So my mother who was 14 at the time was taken to many different states and she doesn’t know the day or place she gave birth at. I’ve been searching for her ever since I learned of her. My mother was told she passed and I’d like to find out if it’s true or not.
831. LoriSue71 : I’m looking for 2 siblings. My brother and I were told we each had a twin that didn’t survive. Mine was supposedly an identical twin that was stillborn and my brother’s twin supposedly died at 6 mos in the gestation period. At that time I was sent to relatives in another state for the rest of the pregnancy.
My twin would have been born in Trinity Hospital in Minot‚ ND May 24th or 25th‚ 1971. My other sibling would have been born in Las Vegas‚ NV 1977. My brother was born in July 1977.
We just sent DNA kits into Ancestry.com during the past 2 weeks hoping to find answers to questions we have about our twins‚ paternity‚ ancestry‚ and other relatives we may have.
834. JoanBartlett : Hi I am joan I’m looking for my 2 kids that’s were adopted my daughters name is sabrina and her baby brother is Leo iv been looking for you for years you were adopted when you were 2 and a few months old if this is you contact me
837. LianaHudspethHays : I am looking for my daughter‚ Cherie Noelle Hays (last name unknown now) and she turned 18 this year. It was supposed to be an open adoption years ago‚ but I went to the wrong section of the family court the day I was supposed to be in court in Las Vegas NV for parental rights. I was going to meet her Christian parents and only wanted pictures and letters. I was happy that she was with them and they could provide her with a stable loving Christian home. They only checked the paper court docket of the court section I went to‚ and if they had checked the computer docket‚ they would have directed me upstairs to the right place. I had also forgotten my letter in California where I was staying at that time. So they turned me away. I was a troubled woman back then‚ and I was heartbroken over the whole thing. Even my family court lawyer wasn’t notified. I could have fought this‚ but chose not to‚ since from the one letter and pictures I got once‚ I could see how happy and healthy Cherie was. All I know is they were living in the Las Vegas area then.
Now my life is better‚ and I just want to know how she is doing. I would love the opportunity to tell her why she was adopted and that she is loved beyond words. I have been reunited with all my children but her and she could know her half-brothers and sisters. She could see the power of Jesus Christ and how He changed my life once I firmly followed him. My record is spotless now‚ I attend church at TCMI‚ and I run my own businesses...a huge change from the person I was before.
I left a letter for her adoptive parents to read to her and I don’t know if they ever did. I am just praying that I have the chance to share the truth with her someday. Thank you.
