A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Nevada Who Chose To Be Featured
811. Mudpie : I have reason to believe that my father’s name is possibly Harold Nitchman. He has a daughter Heidi Stephensen and a son Harlan. He was from the Seattle. WA area. He and my mother were married in 1953. She passed recently and I found out after that‚ that my father adopted me. I cannot find any info that suggests I was legally adopted.
813. Sofiaa22 : I know that I was born in Las Vegas Nevada Lake Mead Hospital I think so and that my mom’s name is Jenny Torrez I was adopted when I was five and my sister was seven and my brother was six I believe we came three in a group.
814. Raveybaby78 : My daughter was born June 30‚ 2016 around 1:15 PM at UMC hospital in Las Vegas‚ NV. Due to personal troubles & not being educated in how the system works‚ my daughter was taken from me by CPS due to my failing a drug test for opiates. She was placed with a foster family. They raised her until CPS took her from them in 2018 or 2019 sometime. I am still in contact with the foster mom and both she and I have been wanting to find her and both of us haven’t been able to find her so we hope that is due to her being adopted.
815. Jesscachristine : :) I don’t know much about my birth family.
The only information I obtained is that my birth mom was 22 around the time she relinquished parental rights‚ and was unaware she was pregnant until my time of birth. My birth father and mother were not married.
I was born 3 months-premature at University Medical Center - Las Vegas‚ NV. My agency records indicate that the name "Pauline J. G." was registered under my social security number.
I’m unsure if that was my birth mom’s name or just a random name the foster family gave me.
816. LizethHigareda : My sisters name is Susana Magali Morales im looking for her daughter by the name of Marline Morales who was adopted in 2008. She was adopted by washoe county in Reno‚ NV
817. Kellyzollo : I was taken into state custody outside a casino in Reno‚ NV six weeks after I was born. My older sister was in the car with me and we were placed into different homes when adopted. I was born in South Lake Tahoe‚ CA. Original name Kelly Sue.
819. Jmbarry : I am looking for a person who matches my husband’s DNA profile on Ancestry.com as potential 1st or 2nd cousin (so possibly half-uncle?) who is unknown to the family. Initial attempts to contact have gone unanswered and it is not even known if the person is still alive. Texas is only a "hunch"‚ no clue actual year or date of birth. Only name given is Paul Erickson. Its also possible that afoption took place in Nevada or Oklahoma. Ive been in contact with 2 distant cousins found through dna genealogy research‚ turns out they are half siblings‚ one of whom was afopted out around age 4 along with other siblings including a brother. It’s a family mystery‚ and I’d love to help solve it for this person (or their family) if they are interested.
822. CallieAnn : You were born in Reno‚ NV‚ at Washoe Medical Center. Your adoptive Mother and Grandmother were there. I think your adoptive Mother was named Beverly. Your adoptive Father possibly William. I was told years later that possibly my doctor was related to one of your adoptive parents (either Honeycut or VanBuren). A private attorney named John C. Hilinski handled the adoption. I got to spend 2 days with you in hospital and took rolls and rolls of pictures. I don’t know why‚ but only a couple of the pictures came out. I asked and received a picture of you when you look maybe 6-8 months old. You were in a big chair that was mint green. The attorney showed me pictures of where you would live in Philly. The house was white‚ 2 stories‚ with pillars and red rose bushes out front and a swimming pool out back. There was a big dog. I was told that you had a brother and a sister (maybe named Sara) who were also adopted and were being told that they were. You may have been raised Mormon. You also have a half-brother‚ plus 2 sisters which I adopted in 2002. Not many days have gone by that I haven’t thought of you and remembered every moment with you. Please respond and let’s begin there.
824. JimmyVegas1969 : Hello Father‚ Mother‚ Sibling or other Family. I’m James T. and was born and given up for adoption in Las Vegas NV in July of 1969 at the Woman’s Hospital across the street from Valley Hospital. I’d like to hear from any of my family. I’m 53 now and curious of who you are. Nice to know anything about my medical background and origins. I wish anyone searching to be successful. Good luck.
825. Suelep : I am looking for my twin brother and sister‚ born in Canada under the name of McKinnon in 1958 who were separated and both adopted out in the US
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
