On my sisters original birth certificate her name was Mary Brigid. I believe that she was adopted by an american couple and taken to America, but I don’t know how true this is because of the secrecy that surrounded adoptions in Ireland in the 1950’s.

My dad says he doesn’t know much about him except for what the people who adopted him do for a living. My dad said that he had him when he was about 18 and that the only contact he had was some letters and pictures of the kid. It was a closed adoption. I think the kid went to reed highschool but I don’t know for sure. I dont know his name sadly.
