The home gave a little information about my birth Mother who was an apprentice hairdresser at the time‚ liked athletics and swimming and had dark auburn hair with blue/grey eyes.
My Father was 18 years old and an Engineer in the merchant Navy and did not know of my existence.
Lesley’s Father was a Fireman.
25th March 1970 was the day Lesley left the home‚ collected by her Father and I was taken by my new Adopted Parents for adoption.

Our Ancestry results show that she was likely Welsh and his father was likely Irish‚ though with a possible mixed heritage for both.
