A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Surrey Who Chose To Be Featured
571. PiaMay : Adopted at birth‚ girl‚ to Janet Joy Deeley‚ late1962. I was only told about this recently. Sister‚ same mother and father‚ less than a year younger than me. I never knew father Maxwell May. I am 62 living in London now.
574. June1961 : I have found my biological mother but hoping to find my biological father by hopefully accessing my adoption records. Many thanks. June
578. Rayblondie : I am the uncle of the adopted person. Caroline was adopted by Mr and Mrs Healy. My wife thinks it was when she was 17 yrs. They were her childminders and their father lost custody of Caroline to Mr and Mrs Healy. She must have been born in West Hampstead London about 1985 or thereabouts.
579. Nigel_G_57 : I am hoping to reconnect with my biological family. I was adopted in Surrey‚ England within a year of being born in 1957. The name of my biological mother is Ada Coles.
580. Jacquikennett : I am searching for my fathers half sister. I believe her name at birth was possibly Gillian and I understand she was born in 1946 or more likely‚ 1947. My dad (Barry Richard Kennett) remembers being introduced to her when he was aged 5‚ in 1947. Again‚ I understand that she was adopted by a Doctor(s) from Mitcham in Surrey.
’Gillian’ was born to a single mother (Freda‚ known as ’Olive’) from Croydon. My dad (born 5 years earlier) also does not know who his father was he was brought up by Freda’s parents in Croydon‚ for many years believing her to be his ’sister’.
My dad is now almost 83 and has always felt like a part of him was missing‚ particularly as he was aware of his half sisters existence‚ and has often talked about her.
581. NixChute : Hi‚ My mother had a son by the name of Neil in March 1983. I don’t know if his name was changed when he was adopted. I have been told about you when I was 13 years old‚ I am now 38 and have never stopped looking for you since. Neil would have been born with no father on the birth certificate and Julie Allen would have been under the birth mother and you were born in Ashford and West Middlesex Hospital.
585. Epsomsalts : Birth mother’s name is known ‚and there was contact over a number of years till birth mother’s death in 2023.She could not remember birth father’s name and it is not the father who was named on the original birth certificate. She thought it was something like Crego Bourne‚ there are people of this name but no connection has been discovered.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.

I have been searching off and on for a possible biological son since 2009‚ and found him recently due to a message he left on Adopted.com. He is extremely similar to me and my other son‚ and looks a lot like me! These past few days have been the best ever.
