I believe Roy was adopted/raised by someone called Brown - Lorraine Margaret Brown? nee Hyland and John (altho not wed to her) but he wed an Alice Hyland in 1947?
May all have lived in RAF married quarters at some point in time.
837. Dfoster23 : I would dearly love to find my biological parents Geoff and Jeanette Gledhill. They were 17 years old when I was adopted‚ I have been in contact with my dad once a long time ago ‚ I’m a musician born in Standish Lancashire.
838. DebP52 : My son would be 31 this year‚ if he is still with us‚ he has cerebral palsy and is blind his parents are wonderful to him but the drs at the hospital all said he would be lucky too see his teenage years. So as you can imagine being his birth mum I would like to know if he is still with us or has gone to be with our lord thank you
840. JohnWarburton : My Great Grand Aunt‚ Harriet Ellen ’Nellie’ Warburton never married and had a child in about 1916-1922 we believe most-likely to be in 1919. We have no idea who the father was. Nellie was born‚ and lived at Hall Lane Farm in Daresbury Cheshire with her Parents until about 1932. She then moved to live at Spark Hall‚ Stretton‚ Cheshire to nurse the elderly Sara Blackshaw who resided at Spark Hall (nowadays the Stretton Fox Pub).
We tentatively believe‚ but can’t verify‚ that Nellie’s child tried to visit her at Spark Hall but that Nellie refused to meet with the child (perhaps then a young adult and possibly a boy?).
Nellie died‚ still at Spark Hall‚ in Jan 1979 and she is buried with her parents Thomas and Harriet Ellen Warburton at All Saints Church‚ Daresbury.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
