802. RachelWilliams71 : My father Michael John Willians was born in Shrewsbury hospital on Nov 5 th 1944
His real father was killed in action in Second World War. I have managed to trace him/his family on Ancestry.com from my DNA however I am still trying to trace my father’s birth mother and any family of hers.
I don’t know her name.
My father was adopted straight after birth by Hugh and Margaret Williams in Welshpool.
The birth mother wrote to my father til he was 8 but he didn’t believe he was adopted and didn’t want to know her.
I would like to trace her and someone on my DNA connections suggested this as a way to find her.
806. Julieann_70 : Her given name was Theresa Puttick‚ not sure of the exact birth date‚ but she is on the England & Wales Civil Registration Birth Index registered in January‚ February‚ March of 1969.
The adoption took place in Cardiff‚ our mother’s name was Margaret Puttick. She was her second child and daughter.
809. Jobicheno70 : My Mother Elizabeth Dorothy Crosher had a child Peter Crosher born in a Nursing Home Grosvenor Road Wrexham Wales. She was living at Cherrytree Llangollen Wales. Peter was adopted.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
