We know his parents worked in a post office and his father for Merthyr Tydfil council. My dad had two older half brothers and his father or mother may include the name Thomas. He was born and adopted in Merthyr Tydfil and we know his biological father worked with his adoptive father.

Sadly David Price Townsend passed away many years ago and just yesterday whilst requesting a copy of my birth certificate from the local registry office I was informed that I was adopted by David Townsend. I have no idea the name of my biological father or of my birth name.
