563. JohnnyGloucester : My twin brother and I were adopted aged about 6 weeks old and I’m told my birth mother was only 16 or 17 at the time and we were going to be named Geraint and Gareth (I think).
I am interested in finding my birth parents but not sure my brother is.
We were born in St. Asaph Hospital so presumably my mum lived reasonably close to the hospital.
565. HelenWard : This is a message for a boy born as David Gluntz born to Christine Gluntz in London. Your half sister Helen and half brother are keen to find you
566. SiwWootton : Hello
I am looking for my father actually. I have met Fay who gave birth to me in 1960 whilst I still lived in Wales 🏴 In 1990. I know I have three half brothers Michael, Keith and Graham Sherman. I came as a shock to them because I was the secret no one ever spoke about. Of course to be pregnant in 1959 and unmarried was frowned upon and I can understand this. Whilst I have a connection to one of my half brothers on Facebook I have sensed a distancing in our connection. I am now 61 years old and time is moving on. I would like to know who fathered me. I guess I’m a secret on that side too. I will never know until I either contact my father (if still alive) or possibly meet his family in some way. We are now in the third millennium and attitudes have changed somewhat since 1960. I know live in Australia (moving here from New Zealand in 2014). I have children who ask questions and find it difficult to believe that I don’t know. Should any information come from this we can start slowly and possibly build from there. Hoping to finally find out where I come from. 😊
567. Tigzy : Hi there,
I do not know much about my brother, apart from he was born before me, he was called at Borth David Willaim Ingleson, which may of been changed to Dando William Ingleson before been adopted, was told he was adopted in Wales but don’t know how much of that one is true.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
