This maybe a long shot but I am looking into my family tree. Some years ago some things about my nan had come to light. She was adopted by her grandparents and was raised as their daughter. She has gone her whole life not knowing this until my grampy died in 2016. Her name is Rowena Pritchard and she was born 18th november 1946 in cardiff‚ South Wales. I am looking for anyone who can give me and indications on who her parents are just so i can understand my history. From what i understand her bio mum was possibly a daughter from her adopted dad in a marriage before the woman my nan new as mum was married. its all very confusing i know.
593. Shellytu17 : My grandfather’s name was Manuel Cruz Silva. I believe he was adopted & am trying to find out his birth name as I can only find one electoral roll document from 1939 that names him. I’ve also been led to believe he was born in Gorseinon‚ Swansea but no records show up.
He died on holiday in Spain between 1983-85 I think.
He lived in Rumney‚ Cardiff‚ Hunter Street‚ Docks & also had a shop in Bute Street‚ Docks‚ Cardiff.

The social worker lied on reports to the court to have her removed. She has two half sisters‚ one called Rosie and the other Sapphire‚ who she adored when she lived with her as a baby. She also has two half brothers on her dad’s side. We think she’s now in Southern England staying with a Scottish man and an English woman‚ possibly a teacher and we think the man is a chef.
