Glam and Alice was calling herself Christine she had come to Wales to work. After the adoption the mother went back to live in Lancashire possibly Oldham. She had 4 siblings John, Mary, Patricia and Steven D Wood.
13. Hatcork : I am searching for any relatives of a John Duffy who was Irish but lived in Newport Wales in 1953 whilst working on the motorway (we think). He would have been in his early 30s at this time and knew the Hicks family. He was the biological father of a son who was adopted and that son would like to make contact with any biological relatives.
