Do not know Month or Day of birth
656. Jadeb1990 : My sister was in a closed adoption in Manchester 1996. Our biological mother does not know I know this information and I have no contact with her either. All my aunt could tell me‚ was her name is Olivia. And that’s all she knew. Olivia‚ born Jan’ 1996. I hope you find this.
657. Lemir : I was born in st Mary Manchester and I was born earlier than planned i think it should have been March 1995 but not sure if was me or birth mum had complications I was born in 4th January 95 all I know is my birth name was either Chelsea or Chantelle I seem to remember my adopted dad telling me once I do have cerebral palsy due to being born early but very mild however unsure if my birth family are aware but i think my adopted mum sent them pictures once a year or a letter the adoption agency my now parents used was caritas salford
658. JULES1938 : There are twin boys born in Manchester on 28 October 1965. John and David Dearden‚
5 years before I was born in 1970.
After my mother’s death‚ we found two birth certificates in her belongings. It would have made her about 27 years old having twins.
I have questioned relatives if they knew anything but in the 1960s you could go months without seeing relatives.
My maternal grandmother was a midwife. These could have belonged to her work. But she was a tyrant and my mother used to move around training racing horses to get away from her.
She had an affair with a married man in the 60s. When she lived in North Wales it makes sense that the boys were born in Manchester. After her divorce from my dad‚ she reverted back to her full maiden name. In the 60s as I did in the 80s you could call yourself anything you wanted.
My mother possibly called herself Dearden‚ the twin boys may not even know they are a twin.
I found two short birth certificates with first and last names. no middle name. My and my brother’s middle names are personal‚ and had meaning.
The trail goes cold after finding the records of their birth‚ nothing after that which means they had their names changed‚ there are no death records‚ if they died at birth.
659. Bevbac : I am looking for my dad’s birth family - son of Jackson nee Whitfeild and Cookson born South Manchester. Was in the care of the Catholic rescue society and adopted in bolton‚ Lancashire in 1947
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
