However my mother thinks she may have found her adoption papers as a child and remembers reading the name Joanna/johanna Harvey. 208. Khloelulu : All I know is he was adopted over a year ago and have no idea where my son is he is called kade hunter burns I gave birth to him at stepping hill hospital in Stockport, Manchester. On the 6th June 2017 I gave birth to Ellis burns his nickname (malachi) at Liverpool women’s hospital he was born with a serious heart defect and was rushed to alder hay childrens hospital and had open heart surgery and stayed in ICU for a while I think he still has appointments at alder hay hospital in Liverpool and st Mary’s hospital/MRI hospital in Manchester
209. Jannice : Hi this is hard. I can’t go into why this happened just yet but it was not my choice. Her name at birth was Emma-Louise she was born a beautiful healthy girl on Halloween of 1984.
At the time my social worker spoke to the adopting parents to help them understand this I was given a photo of Emmy-Lou
And the adopting parents said they were going to keep her name. They sent me a letter through same lady indicating they would always be open and would cherish her and understood my dilemmas. It was lovely.
But every year without fail I celebrated All Hallows Eve in Emmy-Lou’s honour! My life was full of historic abuse from a parent. And I was also abused by Emmy’s father. My life has always been hard Jeremy Kyle couldn’t handle it. I’ve suffered a LOT OF LOSSES!! But I’ve always tried my best my children have always known about Emma-Louise as I’ve nothing to hide much to my deceased parents dismay!!But after a long battle with Double Breast Cancer I’ve begun a new life and I’m finally happy in that situation but there’s always been a heaviness in my heart and a gap in my soul for the beautiful little girl I never had a chance to love. I kept the secret of why my parents forced me to make the decision but they’ve been deceased a long time. And I hope to never have to reveal it but I understand I may have to! That was my reason for not contacting anyone sooner. I didn’t want to put a child through that. But at 53 I’ve found the strength to overcome so much and I do mean so much!! I know she may not want to know me but I just want my details there in case. And I do have have other children and 3 granddaughters! Thank you for your time. JANNICE XX
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
