725. Chloeh21 : I am looking for my dad’s brother who was put up for adoption in 1963. I’m not sure of his exact birth date but it was in February . His name was Joseph and his mother’s name was Isabella Wilson Walker. I know that Joseph was put up for adoption and sent to an American family‚ brought back to his original parents and then put up for adoption again. His father was in the RAF and was based at RAF Wethersfield in Braintree. I’m unsure if the father’s name would be on the birth or adoption papers. I know the father’s first name is John and surname is Kavanaugh but could also be spelled with a C.
727. BryanKearney : I'm looking for my brother‚ he was born in Epping Forrest‚ Essex on October 28th 1975. I believe he was adopted by a family in Scotland pretty quickly. His original name was Vincent Oliver O'Dea.
His mother's name was Mary O'Dea.
728. SandraHeward : The only information I have is on my birth certificate made out to my adopted family. Birthplace‚ Great Bentley‚ Essex‚ England. Date of birth as above. I was told by my adopted parents that I was illegitimate‚ and that I was adopted when I was three weeks old. At that time‚ and up until 1976(?) when the law changed‚ the birth mothers who had their babies taken away to be adopted were reassured that no-one would come looking for them later in life. If it helps when investigating the archives‚ my adopted parents' names were Sydney and Joan Heward.
730. Sjaryo29 : My stepmum wishes as she died was to find her son.she was known as Jane falzon but her first name was geovana.
She came over from Malta around1958 onwards and lived in Newcastle for awhile until the work discovered she was already pregnant.
She then moved into the London area.
The baby must have been adopted as she was catholic and would not of got rid of it.
If there is anyway of finding Peter Falzon Iit would make her dying wish come true.
I am her stepdaughter so it would make Peter my stepbrother.
Regards Sarah
732. Dogwalker : I was named Sandra Daltrey when I was born. My mum's name was Dorothy Irene Daltrey - she was living in Walthamstow when she had me. I believe I may have a brother and sister or half brother and half sister born after I was adopted. I would love to connect with any family member
733. Danielmillward : My late mother had to give up her son(he maybe called Peter and live in Leeds) She lived in Southend or elsewhere in Essex. Think the adoption was a few week after birth Jan 1960
734. Bella56 : I am trying to trace the brother of my dad. They were both adopted soon after my dad was born in 1930. The brother would have been a year old. Their mother was Maud Meddings living in Chingford.
The father’s name is not on birth certificate‚ but is named on the adoption file. He is Frederick Culpin‚ living at Highams Park E4.
735. Joan1925 : Renee (my late grandmother) may have had a twin. Her adoptive family had a son named Thomas. Nan lived with Thomas and his wife Olwyn for a time in London later in life.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
