He went to live with my parents aged six weeks‚ and I was born 10 months later. I ordered his birth certificate a few years ago‚ and we know his full birth name was John Edward Redmond‚ mother Marie Philomena Redmond. On the birth certificate only the grandmother is named. Her name is also Philomena Redmond. We had been told by our parents that he was born in Essex‚ birth name John Redmond. We would like to find out if his mother is still alive.
