406. Crystaldale : Searching for Michaela 06/10/1980
and Daniel 17/09/1981
both names may have changed.
birth parents Dawn Dale and John Giggins
born Rushgreen hospital, Essex
409. VYJ1959 : I was born in South Weir Hospital in Lambeth, London. 24.1.1959
I then was placed in Dr Barnardos home for children until I was adopted in around 1964 to a family by the surname Norton.
There is a possibility my surname at birth was Lambeth, this hasn’t been confirmed and I am not sure whether they chose something close to where I was born.
My adopted parents have since passed away and I was unable to approach the subject with them in fear of upsetting them.
It is possible I have a half sister.
I am unsure whether I was given a name at birth, I believe I was possibly called Yvonne Jean or Jean, this may have been given by the Barnardos home.
Looking for any living relative please.
Kind regards
Victoria Norton

416. Marilyng1 : My mum and I are searching for her biological father. My mum was born in West Ham or Stepney Green and adopted around 6 weeks later by her wonderful parents. On her birth certificate, my mum was given the name Joan.
Her biological mother was Helena Sylvia Davis from West Ham. Unfortunately, Helena left the name of the father blank on the birth certificate, so we do not have any information about the biological father.
We know that Helena came from a family of drapers and she went on to move to America.
Both Helena and my mum’s adopted family were Ashkenazi Jewish. As far as we understand, the adoption was arranged by Dr Townsley (spelling).
We are unsure if the biological father even knew my mum existed but we are hoping we could find out who he was and whether my mum has any other family alive today.

On September 2003 you went to your forever home with your adopted parents Jo and Richard.
We was having letter box contact once a year and sent you birthday and xmas card every year.
. I’m not sure why contact had stopped with your mum. She did tried to find out to why through adoption services but with no luck.
I have reasons to believe you are living in Australia possibly Brisbane.
I would like to make contact with you and your other siblings would like to make contact with you too.
I will keep searching and praying that we will be reunited again and maybe start all over again.
Until we are reunited sending you my love from your birth mum Michelle flack
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
