A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Cheshire Who Chose To Be Featured
391. JohnWarburton : My Great Grand Aunt‚ Harriet Ellen ’Nellie’ Warburton never married and had a child in about 1916-1922 we believe most-likely to be in 1919. We have no idea who the father was. Nellie was born‚ and lived at Hall Lane Farm in Daresbury Cheshire with her Parents until about 1932. She then moved to live at Spark Hall‚ Stretton‚ Cheshire to nurse the elderly Sara Blackshaw who resided at Spark Hall (nowadays the Stretton Fox Pub).
We tentatively believe‚ but can’t verify‚ that Nellie’s child tried to visit her at Spark Hall but that Nellie refused to meet with the child (perhaps then a young adult and possibly a boy?).
Nellie died‚ still at Spark Hall‚ in Jan 1979 and she is buried with her parents Thomas and Harriet Ellen Warburton at All Saints Church‚ Daresbury.
