Their relationship was from1943-1948. I believe that their child was born around 1946-1948. He was a radio engineer in the RCAF. My grandmother disapproved of the relationship and possible gave false information to the birth mother.

A Social worker called Margaret Stanley came and took her away, when she was 6 days old, to a foster women in Weston Point Runcorn. Information I have is that Rawtenstall county court, Bacup Road, Rossendale, Lancs, BB4 7NJ. Adoption Application number 7500898. Serial number for Adoption application is ACA4/75. Dated 24th September 1975. I still have documents given to me 42 years ago. I would sincerely like to find my Daughter whom I was forced into giving away. Not a day has passed that i havent thought of her. I was 17 years old. I was 60 this June 2017. That’s a lot of time passage..many tears.

My name back then was Brenda Harvey and I lived in Speke liverpiol at the time of adoption. I can’t remeber his correct birth date only that he was born in either 1959 or 1960. My mother made me give up the child as I wasn’t married don’t know if her name Lillian Harvey will be if any help

We had some letter box contact for a few years but this stopped when I moved house. Presumably due to social services not passing letters on.
