I think it was the Church of England‚ Diocese of Shrewsbury that over saw the adoption.
Birth mother named me Angela which is my middle name.
My birth father declined is name to be put on my birth certificate‚ which I can understand. But I’d love to know his name. I think he was 18 as well.
I know from a letter from social services that my mother was 5ft 7‚ so she may be taller than me!
I don’t think I know any other details‚ but I would love to meet my birth mother and have a connection with her‚ my birth father or any siblings out there.

I was named Angela and taken in by a foster carer. I was adopted 6 weeks after I was born.
My birth mother was called Gillian Irvine. My birth father didn’t want to be named on my birth certificate‚ but he gave me a lovely panda bear 🐼 teddy whilst I was in hospital‚ which I still have.
I still live in the Northwest on the Wirral. I grew up in Heswall and I am a nurse.
