107. MeganBanham88 : I am searching for my birth Grandmother Patricia Flaherty on behalf of my Dad Paul Banham (Birth name Martin Flaherty). He was born on 06/03/1959 All I know so far is that Patricia was 21 when she had him and she lived in Moss Side in Manchester at the time. I went to the Catholic rescue society in Salford for a meeting in order to trace Patricia Flaherty on behalf of my Dad as he is living abroad so could not make the meeting himself. They managed to get the adoption file from the court but there is no birth date for Patricia, only her age was available. There was also a mention of a Mr. Joe Nelson who could potentially be my dad’s paternal father but he was not put on the birth certificate. I believe she went to a mother and baby home in Handforth, Cheshire on Sagar’s lane called Knowle House. We would love to find out if she is still alive and whether she would have any desire to reunite. She has 3 granddaughters Megan 30, Ella, 25 and Ayva 16 plus 3 great grandsons aged 9, 7 and 5. We would love to find her :-) x
108. Milliehabba : My grandad, Graham Timothy Haberfield was adopted within a year after his birth. this took place in England. His adoptive parents names were Fred and Edith Haberfield, and I am searching for the name of his birth mother. Graham died in 1975, and so I never met him.

110. Deledi : I’m looking for a female who would be my grandad’s biological sister. She was born and named Eileen on 4th June 1929 at Sharoe Green maternity home‚ Fulwood‚ Preston‚ Lancashire to Edith Kay Seed of Preston and no named dad but we believe his surname is Heller. We think she was unofficially adopted by a family but we have no details. We know that they may have moved to London at some point but moved back to Lancashire. We think she was probably quite young (about 3-5 years old at the time). She has 2 brothers (one of which is my grandad‚ who is still living in the Preston area‚ age 91).

115. Sandra1959 : I’m looking for my birth brother Steven Michael Cox. He was adopted by my father’s brother Samuel Cox his wife was Lottie Cox may have been German. They had an older son Douglas. Samuel was in the army based in Germany in the 60s. My mum’s name was Rosemary Ann Cox father’s name was Peter Cox. We lived in the Wigan area I believe Sammy and Lottie lived in the Chester area at the time of adoption. I don’t wish to disrupt anyone’s life. I just want to know that Steven is alive and well. Would love to meet him but respect his wishes.

Claresymonds : I wa told my sister was adopted by a couple who were teachers and lived In Runcorn Merseyside or Liverpool, l was also told her nam on the birth certificate was Pamela, my mothers name was Kathleen Bromley her maiden name was Pickering my fathers name was Harold Bromley. I have two memories of my sister one of which was holding her in my arms and feeding her with a bottle. She has been in my heart and mind my whole life.
