287. Micheleing : i’m looking for my deceased mums biological father‚ it appears he had an affair with Margaret Ellis from Garston‚ Liverpool when her husband was away at war. My mum was adopted at birth from the Salvation Army in Liverpool shortly after birth. Margaret’s maiden name was Pye she had a son who remembers an ‘uncle Les’ visiting a lot then he stopped when baby was born
288. Steadman : I am the niece of Susan Steadman, she was adopted out almost as soon as she was born. I am trying to contact her on behalf of my father, her brother. She was unfortunately born deaf but no futher details are known.
290. Twiggy2014 : I know Albert TWIGG wasn’t my biological father but I’d like to know if he adopted me my mother was Margaret Enid Wilson. Regards Christopher Philip TWIGG
292. McHoll : We are looking for Paul Holland born on 10th March 1965 in the Ealing area.
We have only recently learned of his birth and adoption.
We would be grateful for any information on him.
Thank you.
293. EmmaDinning : My brothers name at birth was Harvey Philip Margett. He was born in Barony hospital, Nantwich to Pauline Margett and Gary Mason. He was adopted through Macclesfield Court.
295. Helenmsmith1211 : I am interested in finding my birth mother. I was born in Nazareth House in Wrexham on 2nd October 1972 and Adopted by April 1973. I know the name of my mother which is Eileen or Aileen Ita Mangan. She lived in Nazareth House until after my adoption when, I believe she returned to Ireland. I believe she was Irish and lived in Manchester before she lived in Nazareth House. I think she was studying nursing. Any help would be appreciated.
297. MaiMhambo : Birth father Colin HORSFIELD [DNA verified] - served British Army 27+ years from c1959 in various postings including overseas & latterly in Special Forces. BUT eventually based in / retired to Preston Lancashire. Has known legitimate children and his wife believes him have 5+ illegitimate children, some adopted [like myself] and some not [like my DNA identified half sibling] - so there are at least 3 others ’out there’. The online form only allows a limited range of years but quite simply these children could be born into the 1980s. So very general and not very helpful overview.
298. Spratt44 : I have very little information except my mum was forced to go to some home I believe in Gtr Manc area to give birth and have baby adopted as too young and unmarried. She was born in 44 so I’m guessing birth year between 1961 and 1962. I was born in 65.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
