363. Anamariavoica1 : Ana Maria Giurgiuveanu was my sisters name . I was born in 1993 my name is also Ana Maria in was adopted in Bucharest at 7 months ‚ she was in orphanage with our brother Catalin Giuegiuveanu in Slobozia . They were from Dridu ‚ Ialomita in Romania we are 12 siblings in total . I found and reunited with 7 of them .
364. April888 : Adoptive Parents: Marvin & Margaret Chapman of Williston‚ VT.
Paul was born on 6/10/1953 in Albany‚ NY to a young woman aged 16 at the time of his birth. Paul and his mother remained at the Catholic Home for Unwed Mothers for a short time and left the home together.
Their whereabouts are mostly unknown until approximately 9/1954. It is believed they stayed in boarding houses or lived in households where Paul’s mother worked as a housekeeper.
Paul was adopted via Vermont Catholic Charities on or about 11/26/1954.
A letter was sent to my father in 1988‚ when he requested further information regarding his adoption.
The letter offered a loose timeline pertaining to his mother’s life.
It is believed Paul’s mother wed a serviceman in 1952 (with her parent’s consent) at age 15. Shortly after they married‚ her husband was sent overseas and she never heard from him again.
She lived with various relatives in Vermont‚ no further information was provided about Paul’s Mother’s family.
Paternity was never verified.
365. Mikeyice : Looking for my biological sister who was born Pennsylvania but don’t kno where adoption took place I believe she was born in March of 1993. Birth Mother is named..ANGELA Maggio
366. Charcharvan : Alexandra‚ all I know about you is a memory of a photo‚ of you and your family - hiking in Colorado I believe‚ and I asked who the photo was of‚ and that's when I was first told of you. I was upset‚ so was (our) brother. So I believe the photos where requested to not come any longer to see you grow.
372. SerenaBevan : I was told I had a sister. I don’t know her name or anything else about her. Our birth Father’s name was Lawrence Naranjo. He stuck to Colorado and Kansas mainly as far as I know. That she could have been adopted to be anywhere from 1964 to 1980 because I’m not sure if she was older or younger than myself. I think she was younger but I’m just covering my basics. I have done then DNA through ancestry DNA. Nothing has come up through that yet
373. Walshle01 : My birth mother was 19 years old. She was from Vermont. She was going to marry my birth father but then he changed his mind. My birth mother liked to swim and I believed she named me Catherine before she gave me up.
375. Curiousvt : I'm looking for an Aunt that I just found out about‚ at least I was advised it was an Aunt. She would have been born to a unwed mother through the Lund center in Burlington‚ VT (to the best of my knowledge). This was my grandmother‚ she was not married to my grandfather at this time and this was kept a secret that came out after their passing and the recent passing of my mother. I don't have a lot of family but I would love to know this person. Rumor is that she works at UVM medical center‚ but I'm not sure what she does or what her name is. Would love to touch base‚ fill some gaps and tell you about your parents!
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
