A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Vermont Who Chose To Be Featured
241. KellyBarney : I’m looking for my father’s biological roots. He was adopted in Swanton, Vermont in 1933. My father believe his birth parent’s names were Leo Mossey and Olive Ladue. However, I haven’t been able to get far with that information because I can’t find proof of Olive giving birth in 1933. My father was adopted by the Barney family.
242. Tracie3 : Trying to find hertiage for my maternal grandmother (Emma Ella DeMarto) as she told my mom who told me. Only thing Emma ever was sure of was that was her name and she was born in 1890 Fall River Massachussetts and was at the St. Joseph’s Child Orphange in Burlington, Vermont. Not sure how long. There is what seems to be Louis Marteau (spelling ranges) whom would be from VT and on her death certificate it shows Ed Rousseau but I can not prove any of it. Hoping to find the true of how she ended up in the orphange.
243. Cprickett16 : His name is Jeffrey Borden, adoptive parents are Ralph and Marjorie Borden. He has an adoptive brother, Brian and his adoptive parents have one biological son, Kent.
245. Markg41 : I was adopted when I was 7 years old but was in states custody for about 7 years I was three month old when I was taken from my bological mother my real mother’s name is Gloria lomotte I don’t know who my father is and I’m been trying to find my father for about 7 years now I was born in Burlington Vermont and was put in foster home I was adopted in 1986 born in 1979 I had a case worker who was part of the Howard center and worked with dcf
246. Brittykg : I am looking for anybody who is looking for a birth mother. My aunt has a couple children that she has given up for adoption and we think there could be more. She gave birth in a couple different areas but grew up in Falmouth, Massachusetts. Her name is Patricia Kay Cone and she was born 4/15/1944. Her name before She got married was Peck
247. CNeff : I was born in Jan. of 1968 to Jean Castagna. She gave me up for adoption, as she did another daughter in 1960. We were both born and given up for adoption in MA. I met Jean in 1991, had a somewhat nice relationship with her until her death in 2017, but she never told me that she had another child in 1960, nor did she tell me that her twin sister, Joan Castagna, who I also met in 1991, actually had 3 children and gave them all up for adoption. Within the past year and a half, I was connected with Joan’s 1968 daughter through Ancestry. I connected with her 1970 daughter through 23andme and now I am looking for her 1963 son. Jean & Joan’s family know that he was born in August of 1963, close to the 25th of the month, and probably born in Bellows Falls, VT, which was right over the border from where Joan was staying with another sister who lived in Keene, NH.

253. Kermit75 : All that I was told was that you were born in massachusetts, and that you were raised by maternal grandparents possibly in Arizona. I’m your aunt and I am curious if you want to know us? My brother would be your bio dad. Not sure I he ever signed your birth certificate. He is still alive but was never told where you were and left things alone. And now he is not tech savvy at all so I am searching. You do have siblings. You’d be the oldest of 5 half siblings. My brother had 4 boys including you and 1 girl.
