I know my mom was one of ten children and was high school age and my father was a military man. The town was Chittenden VT. I live on Long Island. My adoptive parents were June and John. The adoption was trough Vermont Catholic Chrities. I was told growing up my mom was 1 of 10 children in Chittenden VT. She was also very young. Father Lovett Of Catholic Charities was in charge at that time.
137. Wenlee : I am searching for my half sister. My mother was very young and when she became pregnant, she was sent to The Elizabeth Lund Home for unwed mothers in Burlington VT to have her baby. Upon her birth my mother held her for the car ride to either a foster or adoptive home, which she remembers being a huge farmhouse. The state would not allow her to keep the baby because her own mother refused to help her. She named the baby Wendy Lee Watson. My moms maiden name was Elizabeth M Watson.
139. ShantaCeleste : Kashmir was where she was adopted from, we don’t know the hospital or agency, but we do know the doctor was Dr. Shanta Saniel. The person is Shanta Miller but her birth name is Sonam and she was adopted by the Miller family.
141. Zabbiegirl78 : Looking for my half brother (related through my dad). My half brother was named Steven David (after our father) and his mother was Debbie or Deborah Mann. I was told that he was given up for adoption around the age of 2 years old‚ possibly to a distant family member. Deborah Mann has a sister named Deanna Mann. I was told that my half brother’s birth date would be around Sept 1976. I think my half brother was born in Utah but could be wrong. I have no other siblings and would love to find you!

All I know is that my brother was born a year or two before me (I was born in Sept. 1970) in
possibly VT, NH, MA or ME.
Was told that my father was going to marry my brother’s mother, but she did not show up to the wedding and gave my brother up for adoption.
I do not know the birth date, but had to pick something above.

149. VT368 : I am looking for a Baby Girl born at the Elizabeth Lund Home in Burlington, VT around 1920. Listed birth mom may be Etta L. Newell or Etta Taylor, having lived in Whitingham, Vermont. A father is listed on the BC but name is unknown. It was said a couple picked up the child - without official adoption being processed. Potential of being in MA, VT, NH, NY or Canada even.
